Random Acts of Kindness ... I'll Start!

One of the things I knew I really wanted to achieve when I started studio MiLK was to include an element of giving back and surprise. I’m still a bit old fashioned and love receiving mail, the good kind, you know like actual birthday cards rather than a Facebook message or an e-greeting card. It makes you feel special! It shows that someone has taken the time to stand in the stationery store and read probably 20 cards until they found the right one that intrinsically said exactly what they wanted it to. They’ve sat down and thought of words to say that would have meaning and they’ve written these words with a pen! A trip to the post office to stand in a queue to lick, stamp and send and voila a little bit of magic is on its way! This is what I wanted to capture.

So, I’ve come up with our #MiLKmoments club. A way for you to nominate a friend or family member to receive a Random Act of Kindness from us. It’s about surprising and delighting someone without them knowing and it’s about feeling good for doing a small something for someone without them knowing. You could have a million reasons for wanting to do it, it could be a thought of love, a way to say sorry (goodness knows we don’t do enough of that these days!) or simply to add sparkle to an ordinary day!

So, here goes I’ll start and send out some surprise #MiLKMoments to friends and family today!

and..... now it's over to you ....would you like to make someone’s day? here’s the link!
